The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club held a webinar to present the study “Analysis and promotion of Spain’s economic and business relations with Latin America”, which has been prepared with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.

The monograph was presented by its author, Juan Francisco Mejía Betancourt, CEO of WOKI Consulting. The work aims to contribute to a better understanding of what has happened in the region and what the future may hold for its relations with Spain. The study analyzes what has happened in the region over the last decade and assesses future projections from an economic, trade and investment perspective, taking into account the region’s economic, institutional, political and social situation.

During the webinar, a round table was also held on “Trade and investment between Spain and Latin America. The business point of view”, with the participation of leading experts:

– José Gasset, president of Global Overseas Advisors and former president of the Brazil-Spain Chamber of Commerce.
– Alberto Almendres, businessman and former president of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Peru.
– Aner Garmendia, CEO of EGA Master.

The debate was moderated by Rafael Ruiz-Villar, president of Plataforma de Proyectos Sociales and coordinator of the Committee of Reflection on Internationalization of the Exporters Club.

Antonio Bonet, president of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, closed the webinar, which was also attended by Ana Esmeralda Martínez Sáez, director general of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.
