Series of conferences about Internationalization offered by Club members employees at the University of Valladolid
The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club has offered, throughout May, a series of conferences for postgraduate students at the Commerce Faculty at the University of Valladolid, which have been given by Club members employees with the purpose of dealing with the legal aspects that companies face when they access the international markets.
There have been 4 conferences to give the students of the University of Valladolid a grasp on the internationalization of the Spanish companies.
The first conference took place on May 4th, and the lecture was given by Miguel Gómez Jene, consultant at Cuatrecasas and dealt with international contracts.
Ramón Gascón, coordinator of Asia-Paci fic group at the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club gave two lectures. The first one took place on May 10th, and it versed about international trade contracts. Regarding the second lecture it took place on May 19th, it versed about international distribution contracts, international franchise contracts, and international insurance contracts.
Furthermore, on May 18th, Marcos Macedo, director of the Legal and Transactional Department at Propav Infraestructures, gave a lecture focused on tenders and international contracts; it allowed the students to learn about International Joint Venture contracts and Internationa public tenders of supplies, construction or services.
Spanish Exporters and Investors Club Award to the best paper about entrepeneurship and internationalization by the students at University of Valladolid
As a final touch to the collaboration between the Club and the University of Valladolid during the year 2022/23, it was awarded the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club award to the best paper on entrepeneurship and internationalization written by postgraduate students at the University of Valladolid. Antonio Bonet, our president, delivered the award to the Student Luz Campuzano, for her paper “Analysis about entrepeneurship and international development from Academia. EntreComp, European frame of reference”. Thanks to this award, the student will have access during a year to the Clubs´s contact network and enjoy the Club services and activities.
The award ceremony took place on Friday June 16th, at the Teatro Principal de Palencia, as part of the TIMMIS events, promoted by Palencia´s town council.
