The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism closed the 5th Internationalization Summit, which was held on June 13, 2023 under the slogan “Spanish companies facing a new international scenario”. The meeting was organized by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Association of Executives and the Leading Brands of Spain Forum, entities that make up the Business and Executives Committee for Internationalization (CEDI), together with the CEOE.

The president of the Exporters and Investors Club, Antonio Bonet, was in charge of reading the joint declaration of the Summit’s organizing entities.

Also during the ceremony, the study “The Spanish company facing a new international scenario” was presented, which was prepared by the firm KPMG based on a survey of 500 executives of companies with international activity, commissioned by the Summit’s organizers, with the collaboration of ICEX and DHL.

The round table “The internationalized Spanish company in the new global context” was also held, with the participation of Xiana Méndez, Secretary of State for Trade; Antonio Bonet, President of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club; José Luis Bonet, President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce; Sofía Osborne, President of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum; Xavier Gangonells, Director General of the Spanish Association of Executives; and Antonio Garamendi, President of CEOE.

As part of the Summit, three testimonial videos of internationalized companies were also shown, with the participation of the top managers of various companies. Our partner companies Incatema, Parcitank and Ingeteam were three of the companies that gave voice to the companies with foreign activity.
