IV Internationalization Summit

The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club is the driving force behind the Internationalization Summits, an unmissable event for the Spanish foreign sector, whose objective is to transmit to the public administration the proposals drawn up by the companies to improve their competitiveness and international presence.

His Majesty the King presided over the IV Internationalization Summit, which was held on 9 December 2020 under the theme “The external sector, a key lever for recovery”. The meeting was organized by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Association of Managers and the Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands, entities that make up the Business and Management Committee for Internationalization (CEDI), together with the CEOE.

The president of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, Antonio Bonet, read the joint declaration of the Summit’s organizers.

During the ceremony, the study “International expansion of Spanish companies: a new global scenario” was also presented. This study was prepared by the firm KPMG based on a survey of 500 companies with international activity, commissioned by the Summit’s organisers, and which also had the collaboration of the ICEX.

As part of the Summit, the video “The importance of internationalization in the current context of post-COVID recovery and reconstruction” was also screened, with the participation of the heads of eleven companies, including five members of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club: Iberdrola, Acciona, Mondragón Internacional, González Byass and Ega Master.
