Aon held a conference organized by the Crisis Management and Political Risk & Structured Credit Solutions departments, in collaboration with the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, which addressed the main challenges that Spanish companies have been facing in recent months, as well as the tools available to them to deal with uncertainty.

The conference was the perfect forum to review the most topical issues in geopolitics, while highlighting the transcendental role played by companies in international trade, as they are a benchmark and demonstrate their great ability to continue navigating despite adversity.

The opening was given by the president of the Exporters’ Club, Antonio Bonet. This was followed by a round table discussion on “Spanish companies in the face of current challenges”, in which experts Lavinia Teodoru, Senior Associate – Origination, Latin America Structured Trade Finance (BBVA); José Liébana, Director of International Financing and Group Insurance (FCC) and Juan Miguel García Mediavilla, Insurance Manager (CEPSA) shared their views. The round table was moderated by Victoria Ambrona, Director Crisis Management & EIL Risks Aon; and Paula Menéndez, Director Political Risk & Structured Credit Solutions Aon.

Also, during the meeting, attendees were able to learn about “Leadership Strategies in Crisis Management” from Juan Muñoz, Crisis24 Consultant. José María Segón, Head of Specialties at Aon, was in charge of closing the event.
