The #JóvenesExportadores of the Club had an enriching meeting with Héctor Ara, founder and CEO of the Suanfarma Group until 2022. During the meeting, the group of Young Exporters had the opportunity to get to know in depth a great professional, backed by his extensive international experience, and talk with him about internationalization and professional development.

Héctor Ara shared the decisions that have guided his professional career. From the creation of Suanfarma in 1993 and the decision to expand internationally to China a year later, to the fact that it has managed to operate in 75 international markets and achieve 80% of its turnover from abroad. Suanfarma has financed its international expansion and growth through the investment of 3 venture capital funds in the company.

Ara also shared with our young exporters his current projects, such as the cultivation and export of medicinal plants.

It has been a real privilege to meet him up close, his professional background, the key aspects of his career…. Undoubtedly, it has been an inspiring and didactic meeting, in which we have been able to learn and get excited about the experience of a great professional like Héctor Ara.

The #YoungExporters of the Club have been able to ask Hector their concerns in the world of internationalization, expand the networking network, so important when doing business and, above all, get to know him more closely and listen to his wise advice.
