Junta de Andalucía presented a new edition of the Extenda Geographic Clubs in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Asia and the United Kingdom, and the Multilateral Club, in a meeting before 40 Andalusian companies that was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat for External Action, European Union and Cooperation of the Junta de Andalucía, in Seville.

The event, organized by Andalucía TRADE, through Extenda, was welcomed by the Secretary General of Foreign Action, European Union and Cooperation of the Andalusian Government, Enrique Milló, and was attended by the CEO of Extenda, Lorena García, as well as the president of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, Antonio Bonet.

The president of the Exporters’ Club, Antonio Bonet, explained in his speech on ‘Structural trends in the foreign sector in the world and the challenges faced by companies’ that “the global economy faces numerous risks, but there are also opportunities for internationalized companies.

Among others, it is worth mentioning the reconfiguration of global value chains, mitigation and adaptation derived from climate change, demographic changes and new geostrategic trends in international markets. In order for Andalusian companies to take advantage of these export opportunities, it is advisable to create instruments, such as those launched by Extenda, to exchange experiences and use new ways of operating in international markets. But it is essential to promote the growth of internationalized companies and for this it is essential to articulate policies that promote business growth.

The Geographic Clubs, launched by Extenda-Andalucía Exports and Foreign Investment, an entity integrated in Andalucía TRADE, in 2022 include a full agenda of commercial activities throughout the year, with the aim of expanding knowledge and its expansion in these strategic markets, through specifically designed actions and a network of business collaboration. In 2022, this new program was positively received by the community’s business network, bringing together 97 companies.
