The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club and Garrigues organized an exclusive breakfast meeting focused on business opportunities in Peru and Colombia for our member companies.

The event focused on the analysis of business opportunities, as well as the economic, social and political situation and the legal framework in Peru and Colombia, given that in recent years there has been a significant recovery in the levels of investment in both countries by Spanish investors, and new business opportunities are expected to arise for companies.

Javier Coronado, Counsel at Garrigues Peru, with extensive experience in economics, economic regulation, intellectual property and economic expertise, as well as extensive experience in consulting in Spain and the European Union, participated in the session. María Paula Cruz Ordóñez, Senior Associate at Garrigues Colombia, specialized in contract and corporate law, also participated in the event. Both speakers gave a detailed overview of the most dynamic economies and investment sectors in both countries, such as the agribusiness and IT sector in Colombia, and mining and telecommunications in Peru.

The event, moderated by our president Antonio Bonet, provided participants with a unique opportunity to ask questions of the experts, exchange impressions and points of view, which allowed for a deepening of topics of interest and the establishment of new connections for future collaborations and projects.
