Financing for business growth, green and digital transition

The Exporters and Investors Club, in collaboration with the ICO Group, held the meeting “Financing for business growth and the green and digital transition”, a key initiative for boosting the economy and the competitiveness of Spanish companies.

The event was organized in the context of the recent approval by the Council of Ministers of the management framework establishing the general conditions for the implementation of five new facilities managed by ICO and AXIS. These facilities are part of the second phase of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, with a total amount of close to €40 billion, distributed as follows: ICO Verde (22,000 million euros), ICO Empresas y Emprendedores (8,150 million euros), Spain Audiovisual Hub (1,712 million euros), Next Tech (4,000 million euros) and ICO Vivienda (4,000 million euros).

This ambitious plan reflected the commitment of the Spanish government and the ICO Group to promoting a more sustainable, digitized and inclusive economy. Through public-private collaboration, these loans managed by the ICO Group offered financial support to projects of companies of all sizes, sectors and regions of the country, thus facilitating access to essential resources for their growth and development.

During the informative breakfast, the President of ICO gave a detailed overview of ICO’s activity and presented the various financing options that will be available in this second phase of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand how these financial resources can be leveraged to boost their projects and expansion plans.

The meeting proved to be a unique opportunity for businessmen and entrepreneurs, who were able to receive privileged information and direct advice on the most appropriate financing tools for their specific needs. In addition, the event is expected to promote a constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors, thus fostering strategic alliances that will contribute to the economic development and international competitiveness of Spanish companies.

The Exporters and Investors Club thus continues its mission to support companies in their internationalization and growth process, facilitating access to valuable information and financial resources that are crucial in the current economic environment. The collaboration with the ICO Group in this event reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to sustainable development and business innovation in Spain.
